This project intrigued me, so I had to try it.

The wall thickness didn't turn out very even.

Tried a piece of cottonwood from the front yard, turning it while the wood was green and wet.

Wanted to try to make this design in the middle. It started out as a bowl, but I calculated the cuts incorrectly.

This natural edge bowl is from a piece of Locust given to me by a co-worker.

I wanted to try and turn a pot with a smaller opening than that of a bowl.

I embellished this bowl with a store-bought accent strip.
